“NCN and their investor partner Clint Smith are turning Nashville into a very important SaaS [software-as-a-service] town. I don’t think people thought that was possible five years ago, even three years ago. That success helped us attract follow on capital from Primus in our Series B and recruit talented employees who are helping propel Ambition forward.”

Recapitalized by GV (Google Ventures) and subsequently acquired by Anthem
NCN was an investor in Aspire Health’s Series A round. Aspire leveraged the experience and expertise of multiple NCN investor partners, including Mike Tudeen and Gene Fleming who served as board directors and were critical to Aspire’s early success. NCN helped recruit investor participation from Blue Venture Fund in the Series B. NCN’s position was ultimately recapitalized by Google Ventures before the successful exit to Anthem in 2018.

Acquired by Bank of America
“NCN joined our founders and a payments industry veteran in funding AxiaMed’s Series A investment. They played a key role in connecting us with our Series B lead, Health Enterprise Partners, and were instrumental in helping us grow our business and achieve an excellent outcome.”

NCN led CareHarmony’s seed round in partnership with a group of strategic health system and population health executives. CareHarmony leveraged NCN’s network to accelerate revenue traction and bring on foundational executives and advisors. After achieving transformational early growth, CareHarmony raised a successful Series A round led by Maverick Ventures.

“By partnering with NCN, we were able to syndicate a thoughtful, professionally designed early-stage round for Cloudbeds. NCN helped us run a smooth process and put together a group of investors that added tremendous value for the company. Importantly, through the NCN network, we were able to hire key go-to-market talent that helped propel the business to successful growth financings with PeakSpan, Viking, and SoftBank.”

Recapitalized by Great Hill Partners and subsequently acquired by Thomson Reuters
“We approached NCN to participate in our Series A and Series B rounds. Through the NCN partnership, we connected with many strategic individuals who became important advisors for us on our journey from launch to being acquired by Thomson Reuters.”

Acquired by Insight Venture Partners
“We brought NCN to the table because we knew they could help us build the kind of savvy board we needed to navigate significant scaling on a path to an eventual exit. That group included a co-founder of ExactTarget, who became a game-changing investor and mentor for us. With the board’s help, we sold to Insight Partners just a couple of years after NCN joined as investment partners, resulting in an outcome that was great for the company, our employees, our numerous NCN investors, and the city of Nashville.”

Recapitalized by Primus in July 2017
“By partnering with NCN, we had access to their roster of strategic investor partners, many of whom had founded or led successful health care companies. These healthcare executives became advisors to EnableComp and served as important business development resources during the company’s high-growth phase. We were very pleased to work with NCN and its partners from our Series A round through our recapitalization by Primus Capital. After we ultimately sold the business to Welsh Carson, most of our top executives became investors with NCN.”

“We partnered with this investor group because of their deep relationships in the healthcare provider community. This investment allowed us to accelerate our product development and expand our customer roster. NCN was critical in supporting our early acceleration and helping us raise additional capital in later rounds.”

“NCN played a significant role in our first outside capital round and has been a valuable partner throughout XOi’s growth journey. They connected us with PeakSpan Capital who ultimately led our Series C and Series D rounds. More broadly, NCN is a really important resource to high growth SaaS companies in Nashville and the Southeast.”
